I grew up in Akron, Ohio, which is known for two things - Goodyear tires and Lebron James. I graduated from the University of Akron with my Bachelor's in International Business in 2005. During my studies, I had the opportunity to live in Faverges, France and participated in an international business internship in London. During that time I traveled throughout Western Europe and have been addicted to traveling ever since.

After graduation I moved to San Diego, the most beautiful place in the Continental U.S., and built a life from the ground up. I love being active, running, surfing and spending time in the great outdoors. By living an active lifestyle, I fall in love with life over and over again. I could not be happier with the way that my life is unfolding. I believe that anything is possible as long as you work hard and never give up on your dreams. I continue to add and cross things off of my bucket list and I’m having the time of my life in the process.

I have worked in the insurance industry since 2006 as a Marketing Representative and I feel extremely lucky to work for a company like Arrowhead General Insurance Agency. Although our company has close to 500 employees, my coworkers feel like family. I truly love my job because I continue to learn something new every day as I face the challenges that our ever changing industry has to offer. Speaking of which! I joined Insurance Women of North San Diego County in June of 2007, after I was recruited by Pam Holt at I-Day. I also hold a dual membership with San Diego Insurance Women. After my first monthly dinner meeting I knew instantly that I was very lucky to be associated with such empowered women. Since that first meeting, I have forged lifelong friendships and I am constantly inspired by all of the wonderful contributions that our association makes to our community and beyond. NAIW provides the perfect balance between cultivating lasting relationships and one’s industry knowledge. In the coming years, I look forward to getting more involved in our association’s community service projects.
