JoAnn Schaub joined Leavitt Insurance Agency of San Diego (formerly Murria & Frick) as a Commercial Lines Account Manager in July of 2009.  She has been in the insurance industry for over seven years.  JoAnn got her start in insurance working in personal lines for a nationwide auto insurance provider.  She then moved to a retail agency starting in personal lines, then getting promoted to commercial lines within her first year.  During this time, she was awarded the Hartford CSR of the Month award for July 2007.  She stayed with her prior firm for approximately five years, before moving to Leavitt.

JoAnn has grown up around the insurance community with her father having spent many years in a large agency in the San Fernando Valley.  JoAnn graduated from California State University, San Marcos in May 2008 and was recognized with honors at the commencement ceremony.  JoAnn has volunteered for many activities to support the community including creek clean ups, tree planting days, and Earth Days.  JoAnn is married to Shawnn, and they live in the community of San Marcos, California with their daughter Carina, cat Angel, and dog Bailey.
